Ski Camp 2015

On Wednesday 12th , Thursday 13th and Friday 14th August, the majority of our International students took part in our annual ski camp to Mt Ruapehu, Whakapapa ski fields. The weather was amazing, with awesome skiing for the first two days. The weather was not so kind on Friday, so a welcome stop at Taupo Hot Pools and pizza for lunch finished up a great trip.

Short Term Students From LABO Japan

Yesterday, on a beautiful sunny day, our short term Japanese students climbed Mt Maunganui, had a soak in the hot pools and enjoyed some time souvenier shopping. They also enjoyed some delicious fish n chips on the beach. A big thank you to Miss Roff for the great day out!

Jason Hong No 1 in Otago Maths

We recently received great news Jason (Jun Min) Hong, won first place in this years Otago University Year 9 Junior Mathematics Exam.
Jason has now returned to Korea, but a big congratulations on his outstanding results!!

Mayor's Welcome

Today (Thursday 6th August) was a special day for two of our International students, Peter (China) and our International Student Leader, Boss (Thailand). The boys represented Tauranga Boy's College at the official welcome to International Students to our region by the Mayor, Mr Stuart Crosby.

Baypark International Student Games Day

On Monday, 3 August all of our International boys along with staff attended the International Games Day at Baypark. 

This is an annual initiative organised by Education Tauranga, involving all the region's international students from primary school through to secondary school. It was a great event with a chance for our boys to mix with other International Students from the Bay.
